Professor Guantian Tiehong, IE Chief Expert of Chinese Academy of Sciences Visited Zhongke Electric Power

In order to further strengthen Bengbu enterprise’s understanding and application of “Intelligent Manufacturing”, to strengthen enterprise’s “Information Interconnection” to achieve lean production, and constantly improve enterprise’s market competitiveness, on November 12th, Bengbu Entrepreneurs Association and Bengbu Talent Golden Harbor specially invited Professor Guantian Tiehong, a Chinese Japanese industrial engineering expert to Zhongke Electric Power for research and guidance of lean management. Mao Guosheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhongke Electric Power, Zhu Guoyin, Deputy General Manager of the Group, Zhang Guan,responsible person of packages equipment company and Yang Mingwei of the Group Office accompanied.


Professor Guantian Tiehong is a foreign expert of the State Bureau of Foreign Expert, IE Chief Expert of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the MBA Enterprise Tutor of the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University, Japanese IE Qualification, ICMC, JCMC. It is engaged in QCD problem-solving consulting and enterprise operation guidance of manufacturing,logistics and other lean production fields for a long time, conducted guidance and diagnosis for more than 600 enterprises.


After getting off, Professor Guantian Tiehong went straight to the production site of the packaged equipment company to check the production process and inquire about the production management and inventory, later,visited the exhibition halls of enterprise products and culture.


Mao Guosheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group,said that the Party and the State are now paying more and more attention to the development of private enterprises and manufacturing industry. With the implementation of a series of policies from the central government to the local government, private enterprises are taking the initiative to stabilize expectations, increase their strength and confidence, and the pace of development is becoming more and more solid. In recent years, Zhongke Electric Power has responded positively to the call of the state to integrate into the "Belt and Road" construction. It has added a new dimension to the development of enterprises, opened up a new profit model and become an active practitioner of the "Belt and Road". At present, the export business has accounted for 40% of the total business volume of the Group.


Professor Guantian Tiehong fully affirmed the development achievements of Zhongke Electric Power and praised that the production management and enterprise culture left a deep impression on him.


Professor Guantian Tiehong, with the theme of ‘Lean as the foundation, Implementation as the reality’, gave a special guidance to the management personnel of Zhongke Electric Power in terms of lean management,lean culture, lean production, etc..


Professor Guantian Tiehong thinks that 75% of the quality problems are related to people, and it is the artificial quality problems that we should focus on and solve. The common quality problems on the site should be solved by stimulating human's subjective initiative through people’s inspection and control. Quality is not checked out, but produced. The final quality of products depends on the process quality, and the process quality depends on the work quality of everyone in the process, and the work quality depends on everyone's attitude towards quality assurance in the process, and the attitude towards quality assurance of people depends on the quality assurance requirements of management. Therefore, quality problem is the attitude of management personnel and operators to quality assurance. The quality problem is not that the operator didn't do it well, but the manager didn't require for it. In terms of cost, we should pay attention to the visible direct cost improvement on the site, because 90% of the enterprise's money is on site. In terms of efficiency,it is an effective means to eliminate waste, and focus on site bottlenecks.


Professor Guantian Tiehong pointed out that the key to improve routine work is to pursue correctness, speed, easiness and simplicity. Correctness: the quality of work comes first, including physical quality of work, service quality, internal communication quality, etc.. Speed: work speed determines work efficiency, which is reflected in process, key links, bottleneck links,workload balance, etc.. Easiness: clear work, division and cooperation,business environment, etc.. Simplicity: work methods, tools, time allocation,responsibility sharing, technology sharing, information sharing.


Professor Guantian Tiehong's explanation theory is profound and clear, showing that IE(Industrial Engineering) as a lean management thought is broad and profound, and won the applause from the audience.


Deputy Secretary Mao said that after listening to Professor Guantian Tiehong's lean management concept, he benefited a lot and the concept played a great role in the production and operation of the enterprise. He sincerely invited Professor Guantian Tiehong to give lectures to all the management personnel at the convenient time to lay a solid foundation for realizing lean production of the enterprise.
